"Working with Elizabeth was a dream come true. We started working with her midway through our planning and it was by far the best decision we made for the whole wedding. She made every step of the process seamless, fun and organized. I cannot count the number of times my family and I said "thank God we have Elizabeth"! I would highly recommend her and her team for any wedding planning, design, day of coordination, or event planning that you may need. She is a class act and the very best in her field."
When the owner and designer of the famed shoe company, Artemis Design, Co, plans a wedding, there is no doubt it will be stylish, unique and oh so special.
Milicent came to me a few months before her wedding looking for some support. The funny thing is, she and I met years prior at a trunk show. I was gifted a pair of her shoes and loved them. Milicent wasn’t someone I forgot - she was gracious, helpful and so passionate. I felt like I made an instant friend after the shoe purchase. Fast forward a few years and I see her name roll into my inbox - Milicent is getting married!
Milicent and Brian’s sweet ceremony took place in the most adorable Quaker Meeting House. It was made for them. The reception took place under a Sperry Tent on a family farm you only read about in fairytales. The day was so special and filled with personal touches such as hand drawn table numbers by Milicent and custom designed wedding shoes by her company!
She created her own line of shoes cut from the same kilm rugs for her groom and groomsmen. Her specially designed shoes were Velvet Pearl Loafers. If you are looking to outfit your wedding party in custom shoes, visit the Artemis Wedding Collection for more details. Tell her I sent you :)
Planning along side Milicent and her family was a joy. Her Mother paid one of the highest compliments ever to me and would introduce me as the girl who could run NASA.
Don’t forget to take a peek at her veil. It’s one you’ll never forget!

From the Bride:
Thank you so much for being our wedding coordinator! James, Gillian, and I truly enjoyed working with you. As you may recall, I was a bit skeptical about needing a coordinator but that did not last long (hah!). From our first phone call, you were so encouraging and responsive. You always brought levity and creative ideas to our meetings, while also managing so many tiny details. I appreciate how easy it was to talk through ideas with you and get your experienced take.
I can honestly say that I woke up on wedding day feeling relaxed! I do not think that is a common feeling but I know that it is because I felt like I was in such good hands. Your easy-going nature put us all at ease too.
One of my favorite memories was strolling up the lane, arm in arm with James, as the second line played. Thank you for that absolutely Brilliant suggestion!! It is a classic Elizabeth idea -- practical (got everyone from a to b), fun (oh SO fun), and memorable (we crack the biggest grins just thinking about it). My and James' wedding was the most wonderful day of our lives and we are so grateful that you helped us realize each detail that added up to an amazing day. Thank you, Elizabeth!
